Chrissie Hynde ROCKED. But then I grew up with that stuff so maybe I'm a bit biased. But nonetheless it was a good night out. Prince Bandroom - she enjoyed it. We enjoyed it. Small venue. Short set. Too short, but then I think she did all the songs.

Everyone buggered off afterwards, but since I quite like The Pretenders I thought I'd get a cd cover signed (Last of the Independants, 1994, which I had in my pocket). So I went on to the stage afterwards, and met Tim The Tour Manager. Introduced myself - polite as ever as always, and asked if it was possible, if Chrissie was still about, to get the cover signed. He said yeah no prob, stay here, and he disapperaed. For a long time. 20 minutes or so is a long time to wait, beers were calling, friends were calling, so up I went on stage again. Thinking perhaps he'd made off with my cd cover. The Prince has a band room just behind the stage, so I stuck my head round the corner to see if I could find Tim The Tour Manager. But instead found Chrissie and the band sitting there chatting. And Tim. And if he'd been a flash of lightning he couldn't have got over to the door faster. Told me that I'm not welcome there and now Chrissie was not going to sign the cover. And he gave it, and my pen back. Fact is, he never asked her. She didn't know I was there. He was just being a Dickhead, because he could. And that, to me, is the worst kind of dickhead! Even friggin Noel Gallagher can speak to his fans.

And Chrissie, if you did know I was there, and you're reading this, and you couldn't be bothered to say hello to one of your old fans from 80 81 then Baby you're too Precious, so Fuck Off.

Oh, You're So Mean!

So, anyway, that's my opinion - I'll write more later. And maybe have a pic or two.
